• Import Port Videos- Every video editing software start with this step of importing videos from the gallery. Just click on the button of "Import Medis" above the media library. Click on the submenu you will see several options. You can either choose the 'Import media files' option or 'Import a media folder' option.

If you choose Import media files then this only enables one file into the PowerDirector software and the 'Import a media folder' option enables you to import all files you are going to need in one folder. All files and folders are placed in the software's media library where they can be easily accessed.

• Combine Projects- If you want to combine the many files into one then Place th cursor on the timeline where you want to place the file. Then go to File and choose the option of "insert file" New window will appear on the screen find the project you want to import, One you located the project click on it and click ok button.

• Split Video Clip- This option is for splitting a single video into two parts and allows you to remove the part of the video you do not want. Fo using this option just click on the video. Select the split option in the toolbar. You can easily split video according to your wants.

• Trimming- This is usually used to trim the part of the video you do not want. you can perform single trim or multiple trims in this. In order to perform this action, select the clip you'd like to trim and then click on the Single Trim tab. Drag the sliders to the positions where you'd like to make the cut and hit OK. Click on the Multi Trim tab and click on Mark In and Mark Out icons to perform multiple cuts on the video clip.
